TechSoup Global’s 80+ technology product donation programs, local community-innovation teams and volunteers, and broad reach into the nonprofit sector, combined with the hands-on expertise of the NNTSP members in such areas of nonprofit technology as IT planning, cloud computing, websites, and infrastructure support, will together deliver innovative solutions to accelerate nonprofits’ missions.

Launch of free software download program targeting local non-profit organizations that are affected by East Japan Great Earthquake
Japan NPO Center (Yoshinori Yamaoka, Chairperson) in partnership with Microsoft, Adobe Systems, and Symantec has started a free software download offer for local NPOs affected by the East Japan Great Earthquake. As disaster relief assistance, this special donation initiative is carried out by a NPO software donation program called TechSoup Japan, administered by Japan NPO Center. NPOs qualified eligible can receive software download free of charge within the software donor company’s donation limits. TechSoup Global and GuideStar International Combine Operations
TechSoup Global, the U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides technology resources and knowledge to NGOs around the world, and GuideStar International, a U.K.-registered charity that promotes transparency and civil society organization (CSO) reporting, today announced that they will combine operations in order to strengthen their respective capacity-building programs for civil society.
