NGOsource Staff

Sheila Warren, Director, NGOsource, leads the design, planning, operations, and growth of the repository. Ms. Warren is an attorney who has counseled hundreds of charitable organizations in the areas of tax and corporate law with Adler & Colvin and in private practice. She graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Law School and has served as an Adjunct Professor at the Golden Gate University Law School teaching "Tax Exempt Organizations". Ms. Warren has authored several publications on tax-exempt organizations and regularly lectures on the topics of international philanthropy and grantmaking. She is active in the local and national philanthropic communities, serving on multiple nonprofit boards, offering her services as pro bono legal counsel, and volunteering her time to various social causes.

Madelene Sun, Equivalency Specialist & Account Manager, NGOsource, supports the design, operations, and implementation of the repository. Ms. Sun is an attorney with experience in general corporate law as well as exempt organization law. She graduated from the University of Texas and Berkeley Law School. Before joining TechSoup Global, Ms. Sun gained experience as a Corporate Associate at Folger Levin & Kahn. In her prior career, Ms. Sun worked as a project manager in the Information Technology department at Procter & Gamble.

Martin Schneiderman, President of Information Age Associates, www.iaa.com, is a senior consultant to the Council on Foundations and has served as its NGOsource manager from inception. He will provide project oversight for the Council on Foundations during the development phase and until the repository is operational. He has also provided management consulting services to the largest U.S. and European private and corporate foundations, community foundations, family foundations, Fortune 100 corporations, investment managers, financial service companies, nonprofits, professional associations, educational institutions, software developers, and service providers. He has worked extensively with NGOs throughout Africa and Asia. Mr. Schneiderman has a B.A. from New York University, an M.A. from the College of New Jersey, and attended Executive Education programs at the Wharton School.
