Welcome to the Innovation Gallery

After 25 years of working with the most innovative NGOs on the planet, we've learned this: innovation happens on the ground. It happens in civil society all the time. Innovation happens because passionate people individuals and organizations figure out how to use the tools they have access to, under constrained circumstances, to meet the needs of their communities. Take a look.

Girl Scouts of Eastern OklahomaGallery Image:
In Oklahoma there are more women in prison than anywhere else in the United States (per capita), and their daughters are 4 to 5 times more likely to end up in prison than their peers. In response to this crisis, in 2002, the Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma created Girl Scouts Beyond Bars: Project M.E.N.D. As part of this project, the girls wrote and recorded songs about their lives and experiences, and using Adobe donated software, created a 16-page album booklet. This project was part of the 2008 Adobe Show Your Impact contest. |
